ProximiChat

ProximiChat adds proximity voice chat to Minecraft. Hear other players through your speakers in real time — the further they are, the quieter they sound. No external software needed. Features

Proximity voice — players within range are heard based on their distance Whisper mode — a shorter range for private conversations nearby Push-to-talk or voice activation — choose your preferred input mode Mute system — mute specific players on your end Private voice groups — talk with friends at any distance on the same server Speaking overlay — small icons appear when nearby players are talking In-game settings screen — adjust mic volume, speaker volume, noise suppression, and more

Requirements

Minecraft 1.20 to 1.21.x Fabric Loader 0.14+ Fabric API Must be installed on both the client and the server

Installation

Install Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version Download Fabric API and place it in your mods/ folder Place proximichat.jar in your mods/ folder Launch the game — config is generated automatically at config/proximichat.json

Default key bindings

V — Push to Talk M — Toggle Mute Voice settings screen — unbound by default (set it in Controls)
