Description

ProxVC++

Expansion/fork of 5Avian's ProxVC mod with expanded QOL features.

Proxmity chat on any BTA Babric server.

Simply install the mod on both the server and the client, configure your mic input, and voilà!

All of the settings for the mod can be found in the ProxVC page of the options screen. There you can turn on push-to-talk, change your mic input, edit your keybinds, etc.

The mic indicator found at the bottom left should reflect the current state of your audio input including if you are muted, talking, idle, or missing an input device.

Expanded Features

  • Per-Player Volume Mixer
  • Sound Occlusion
  • Movable/Toggable HUD
  • Voice waveforms for clarity.

Technical stuff

On the server, this mod will open a UDP server on the same address & port as the Minecraft TCP server.

On the client, this mod will send voice chat packets to the UDP server of the current server when connected to a server.

If your server is encountering issues with ProxVC, please ensure that your firewall isn't blocking traffic to the UDP port.

This mod uses a modified version of Fabric (Babric) and is designed only for Better than Adventure, a heavily modified version of Minecraft b1.7.3!
