Pryzma ✨

The Visual Soul of Modern Minecraft. One Mod. Zero Headaches.

"Because you shouldn't need a dozen broken mods just to enjoy your favorite resource pack."

💔 Remember that feeling?

You finally update to modern 1.21.1 on NeoForge. You download your all-time favorite resource pack — the one you’ve played with for years. The one with breathtaking connected stained-glass windows, custom enchanted blades, glowing lanterns, and magical night skies.

You load into your world, excited… and everything is broken.

The glass has ugly grid lines. The custom swords look like flat vanilla sticks. The starry sky is gone.

You search for answers online, and people tell you:
«Oh, that's easy! Just install these 14 different separate mods, patch three configs, download two extra loaders, and pray they don't crash each other. Oh and they won't support the Optifine format themselves. You need to convert your textures to that mod's format.»

You spend the entire evening wrestling with crash logs and converting textures orinstead of playing. The magic is gone.

💎 Take a breath. Pryzma fixes this.

Pryzma was created out of pure love for the art of Minecraft.

It is a single, elegant, drop-in visual engine that restores the complete beauty of classic and modern resource packs on NeoForge 1.21.1.

No mod salad. No conflicting dependencies. No wasted evenings.
Just drag, drop, and play.

🌟 What it feels like to play with Pryzma:

  • 🪟 Your Windows, Seamless at Last (CTM)
Glass, stone, and bookshelves connect naturally into majestic, seamless panoramic surfaces. Your castles and cozy cottages look exactly the way their architects intended.

  • 🗡️ Weapons with a Soul (CIT)
Rename your sword on an anvil or enchant your bow, and watch it transform into a unique, custom 3D masterpiece. Your gear feels truly legendary again.

  • 🌌 Skies You Can Get Lost In (Custom Sky & Colormaps)
Look up. Deep cosmic nebulas, realistic rotating constellations, and dynamic aurora skies breathe wonder back into the night. Biomes feel lush, atmospheric, and alive.

  • ☀️ Breathtaking Shaders — Built Right In
Drop Complementary, BSL, or SEUS straight into your shaderpacks folder. Warm golden sunbeams slicing through misty morning forests, gentle refractions on tranquil water, and soft ambient shadows. No Iris, no Oculus, no extra loaders needed.

  • 🍃 Velvet-Smooth Flight (Dedicated Multithreading)
Gallop on horseback or soar with an Elytra across uncharted continents without micro-stutters and frame spikes. Pryzma quietly distributes the world's geometry across your CPU cores in the background, keeping your frame pacing butter-smooth.

  • 🖼️ Smooth Art Galleries (Fast Paintings)
Decorate your halls with dozens of grand paintings without your framerate tanking. Pure aesthetic bliss.

VERY IMPORTANT: change your java garbage collector to ZGC

To enable this, ensure your launcher is set to use Java 21 (or newer). In your launcher's JVM Arguments, add this exact line: -XX:+UseZGC -XX:+ZGenerational -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch. Because ZGC works alongside the game, it needs comfortable breathing room. We strongly recommend allocating between 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM (or up to 10 GB if you have 32 GB total). However, never allocate all of your system's memory—always leave at least 3 to 4 GB free for Windows and your graphics driver to prevent system crashes.

Minecraft runs on Java, which constantly creates and deletes temporary memory objects while you play. Standard "Garbage Collectors" periodically freeze the entire game to clean up this memory, causing those notorious micro-stutters and sudden FPS drops. ZGC (Z Garbage Collector) is a next-generation solution that cleans up memory in the background without pausing the game, keeping your frametimes perfectly flat and eliminating lag spikes.

This is fundamentally critical for Pryzma. Unlike vanilla Minecraft, Pryzma's engine uses a dynamically scaling pool of dedicated CPU threads to aggressively compile chunks, shaders, and connected textures in parallel. This massive multi-threaded architecture generates an extreme amount of temporary memory objects. If you use standard garbage collectors, your game will violently stutter as it tries to halt all worker threads at once to clean up. ZGC processes this heavy memory traffic effortlessly on the fly, unlocking Pryzma's true performance and guaranteeing a stutter-free experience even during high-speed flight.
