Description

A small addon for Psi and Sable, adding things I felt were missing.

Currently it adds a custom set of CAD components (Assembly, Battery, Core, Capacitor, and Socket), as well as crafting recipes for chromatic compound, shadow steel, and refined radiance (which are used in crafting CAD components).

It also adds various spells: Operators:

  • get the sublevel nearest to a point
  • get a sublevel's angular or linear velocity
  • get a sublevel's center of mass
  • get the distance between two sublevels (should work, I think)
  • get a sublevel's moment of inertia
  • get the sublevel in the view direction
  • get a sublevel's rotation (XYZ)
  • get the entity's current sublevel

Tricks:

  • assemble / disassemble a sublevel
  • create an amazing gravity field
  • add linear / torque impulse to a sublevel
  • freeze a sublevel for a while

I also have plans to add more compatibility (for example, so that block placement and breaking work correctly), as well as add new spells: connecting sublevels with ropes/springs, more types of fields, applying temporary forces, temporarily transferring impulses between sublevels, creating orbits (so that one sublevel orbits around another), alignment, stabilization, remembering the last collision, and getting entities on a sublevel.
