Pumice: A Nether Sponge Alternative
Clearing out lava in the Nether is a nearly impossible, grueling task. Not anymore!
REQUIRES FABRIC API
Introducing Pumice.
Crafting:
Eight basalt surrounding a sponge.
Usage:
Pumice will absorb lava in the same fashion as a sponge does water, after absorbing the water it will be converted into molten pumice.
Molten Pumice is HOT and will hurt you when you stand on it, so be careful. In order to turn the molten pumice back into pumice you must right click it with a bucket of water in the overworld. This action will consume the water while leaving you with a fresh piece of pumice ready to absorb again!
If you are tired of using your pumice, I don't see why you would, it can be turned back into a sponge by placing it in a stonecutter.
