About
Description
The purpose of this mod is to slow down early and mid game progression. This mod disables tree punching to force players to use either a flint tool or a bone tool to obtain wood (similarly to many 'no tree punching' mods). The process of progressing to iron level tools has been made a bit more complicated since stone tools can no longer break iron ore and a copper pickaxe is now required to obtain it.
New Mechanics:
- Trees can no longer be punched and you must craft a tool first (the flint tool or the bone tool).
- Iron can no longer be mined with stone tools (requires copper tools).
- Gravel can be crafted into flint to obtain flint easier.
- Copper ore only drops one raw copper instead of multiple (to balance how quickly copper tools can be obtained).
- Sculk must be broken with a hoe.
- Chorus plants must be broken with a stone axe or better.
Added Items:
The Flint Tool:
- 3 efficiency.
- 5 enchantability.
- 1.2 attack speed.
- 4 damage.
- 96 durability.
- Crafted with a flint on top of a stick.
- Replaces tree punching.
(The mod adds a recipe that allows gravel to be crafted into flint so that obtaining flint is less annoying).
The Bone Tool (a flint tool alternative):
- 3 efficiency.
- 8 enchantability.
- 1.2 attack speed.
- 4 damage.
- 96 durability.
- Crafted with a bone on top of a stick.
- Replaces tree punching.
Copper Tool Set:
- 5 efficiency (more than stone but less than iron, exactly halfway between both).
- 10 enchantability.
- 5 sword damage (as much as stone).
- 9 axe damage (as much as stone or iron).
- 190 durability (more than stone but less than iron, about halfway between both).
- Crafted with copper in the normal tool recipes.
- Mines most ores/blocks iron can except emeralds and diamonds.
Copper Armor Set:
- Copper armor provides the same protection as chainmail armor but less durability.
- 2 protection for the helmet (same as chainmail).
- 110 durability for the helmet .
- 5 protection for the chestplate (same as chainmail).
- 160 durability for the chestplate.
- 4 protection for the leggings (same as chainmail).
- 150 durability for the leggings.
- 1 protection for the boots (same as chainmail).
- 130 durability for the boots.
