Description

QuickMarkers

QuickMarkers is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft designed specifically for Wynncraft players. It provides easy and fast chat commands to create and manage Wynntils map waypoints without ever opening a UI.

Features

  • Fast Creation: Add waypoints instantly from coordinates pasted into chat.
  • Smart Parsing: Supports multiple coordinate formats (commas, brackets, or spaces).
  • Tab-Completion: Easily delete markers with auto-complete suggestions for existing names.

Installation

  1. Ensure you have Fabric Loader installed.
  2. Install Wynntils (4.1.7 or later) (Required).
  3. Download the latest QuickMarkers .jar and place it in your mods folder.

Commands

Command Usage Description
/addmark /addmark <coords> [name] Creates a marker and sets it as an active waypoint.
/delmark /delmark <name> Deletes a marker by name (supports tab-completion).
/qmhelp /qmhelp Displays the in-game help menu.

Supported Formats

The /addmark command is designed to be "copy-paste friendly," handling various formats copied from Discord, spreadsheets, or other players.

1. Coordinates Only

Generates an automatic name based on the location.

  • 103 -1200 (X, Z)
  • 103 90 -1200 (X, Y, Z)
  • [103, 90, -1200]
  • 103 / 90 / -1200

2. Coordinates with a Name

Assigns a custom label to the marker.

  • /addmark 103 -1200 Dr. Picard
  • /addmark 103 90 -1200 Dr. Picard
  • /addmark [103,90,-1200] Dr. Picard
  • /addmark 103 / 90 / -1200 Dr. Picard

FAQ

Is this mod allowed on Wynncraft?

Yes. This mod only utilizes features that already exist within Wynntils, it simply provides a command-line shortcut. It has been confirmed with the Wynncraft moderation team that this mod does not break any rules.

How is this different from /compass?

While Wynntils has a /compass command, QuickMarkers offers:

  • Persistence: Creates a permanent marker rather than a temporary guide.
  • Customization: Allows for custom names and automatic icon/color assignment.
  • Flexibility: Handles many more coordinate formats and allows for easy deletion by name.
