Quill of Origin

This mod is for the Fabric mod loader and not for Forge. I will not port this mod to Forge myself, but feel free to make a port yourself if you wish to, the license allows you to. It requires the Fabric API and Origins.

This simple mod adds the quilloforigin:scribe power type. Players with a power of this type that also have quilloforigin:chat_book items in their inventory (by default only for one of the hands) will have chat messages logged into the book.

The book has no recipe by default, datapacks are supposed to handle adding it. The actual power implementation and the origin(s) to hold it also need to be provided by a datapack.

Which messages and areas of the inventory are targeted can be configured in the power. For more information, check out the wiki.
