Quiz Mod
A server-side quiz mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge.
Features
- Scheduled auto-quiz with configurable interval (default 60 seconds)
- Manual force-quiz via /quiz force (admin only)
- Supports text-answer and multiple-choice questions
- Configurable rewards: experience, items (ID + quantity), and score points
- Built-in leaderboard (top 10)
- Localization support (Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English)
- Server-side only, no client installation required
Installation
1. Place the JAR file into your server's mods/ folder.
2. Start the server – configuration files and sample questions will be generated automatically.
3. (Optional) Edit files in config/quizmod/ to customize questions and language.
4. Use /quiz reload to apply changes without restarting the server.
Commands
Player Commands
- /quiz answer <answer> – Answer the current question
- /quiz score – View your total score
- /quiz leaderboard – View the top 10 leaderboard
Admin Commands (OP required)
- /quiz reload – Reload the question bank
- /quiz force – Force-start a new question
Configuration
All config files are located in config/quizmod/:

| leaderboard.json | Leaderboard data (auto-generated, do not edit manually) |
Upgrade
Replace the old JAR file with the new one in the server's mods/ folder. No configuration migration is required.
