Description

A Fabric Mod That Adds Racoons

This mod adds a new tameable mob: Raccoons. These adorable little creatures can help defend you.

Current Features:

Raccoons:

  • A small tameable mob that can be used to attack your foes, spawning in the Forest biome.
  • They can be tamed & bred with any food item.
  • They deal an effect called Rabies when they attack, which deals damage over time, prevents health regeneration, damages you on contact with water, and prevents splash potions from affecting you.
  • Tamed raccoons can be picked up by the owner by sneaking and right clicking on them. They can be either placed down on the ground or dropped from the inventory to return them to the world. Sneaking when placing a tamed raccoon will make it spawn sitting down.

Items:

  • Bandit Armour
    • This armour makes you immune to the aforementioned "Rabies" effect, allowing you to use the effect to your advantage without having to deal with it if your opponent also uses Raccoons.
    • Bandit Armour Upgrade
      • This item allows for diamond armour to be upgraded into Bandit Armour. It is found in most stronghold chests, but not in the library.
    • Raccoon Fur & Albino Furs
      • The two types of fur that drop from raccoons, which are used to craft Bandit Armour.

Credits

  • Kaupenjoe's tutorials helping me learn to mod
  • https://modrinth.com/mod/rats-mischief where the idea to make some silly raccoons came from
  • Yak & Nitron, for being the goats and making 2.0.0 happen!!

Ports

  • We have no plans for version backports, a forge port, or sinytra connector support
