About

Description

Tired of seeing those raiders spawn underground in a random cave? or seeing "Raid - Mobs Remaining: 1" and you do not know where the last one is? Well, you and me. I know that too well.

RaidSpawn lets you control exactly where raid mobs spawn. Instead of randomly spawning within a village's boundaries, raiders will spawn in a defined area that you set.

Not only does it help with the known underground spawning issue, but it also comes in handy for organized raid battles.

Features:

  • Set a custom spawn area for all raid mobs (pillagers, vindicators, evokers, witches, and modded illagers)
  • Multiple in-game commands to set the area by coordinates or by selecting blocks
  • Visual particle previews to see your spawn area
  • Works with vanilla and modded illagers
  • Add any modded mob to the raider list via config

Compatibility:

Added Compatibility with some illager mods i personally use (you can always add more in the config):

Illager Invasion

The Conjurer

Difficult Raids - Compatibility Edition

Raided

Commands:

Area Setup

/raidspawn select Pick corners by right-clicking blocks

/raidspawn sethere <radius> Set area around your position

/raidspawn setarea <minX> <minZ> <maxX> <maxZ> <yLevel> Set exact coordinates

/raidspawn setareacorners <x1> <z1> <x2> <z2> <yLevel> Set using two corners

Information & Visualization

/raidspawn preview Visually show your current spawn area with particles

/raidspawn info Check current area coordinates

/raidspawn status Show all mod settings and status

Management

/raidspawn reload Reloading config without restarting

/raidspawn reset Reset to default area

/raidspawn cancel Cancel ongoing selection

Configuration:

Settings are saved per-world in 'saves/YourWorld/serverconfig/raidspawn-server.toml'. You can edit this file directly or use the in-game commands.

Quick Start:

  1. Run /raidspawn select and right-click two corner blocks

  2. Use /raidspawn preview to verify the area

  3. Trigger a raid and watch them spawn exactly where you want.

Updates?

If i see that the mod is desired in newer versions and/or other mod loaders (through comments i guess), i'll consider it!

You can use this mod in your modpack.
