Rainroff is a Minecraft 1.20.1 mod that adds new materials, machines, and areas to explore, giving players fresh goals beyond the vanilla progression.

Steel & Cink tools
Mine Steel Ore and Cink Ore to unlock a full new tool and weapon set — pickaxe, axe, shovel, and sword — plus ingots, nuggets, and blocks for storage and crafting. A dedicated Efficiency enchantment can be applied to speed up your steel tools further, giving players an alternate (or parallel) progression path to vanilla iron and diamond gear.

Salt processing
Salt Ore and a new fluid, Very Salty Water, can be refined using the custom Antisolator (Filtrator) machine, which has its own interface for turning raw salt into usable Salt Blocks and Wet Salt. This adds a light industrial/processing loop for players who enjoy automation-style gameplay.[IN DEV]

Crystal structures
Five hidden underground structures are scattered through the world, each holding a different colored crystal — red, blue, green, yellow, and pink. Players can mine crystal blocks and shards from these sites and use them for crafting, giving exploration a clear, structure-hunting reward loop.

Red Forest biome
A brand-new biome, Red Forest, introduces red-wood trees, red leaves, and red dirt variants, along with a matching wood building set — planks, slabs, stairs, and doors — so players can build with a distinct new aesthetic.

Rare loot: the Loststar
A rare Loststar item can be found in loot chests hidden around the world. Discovering one unlocks the "Firststar" advancement, giving explorers and loot-hunters an extra reward for venturing into structures.

Overall, Rainroff is meant to give players new things to build, craft, and hunt for — extra materials, a new biome to explore, hidden crystal structures, and rare chest loot — without replacing vanilla progression.
