Randinium
No reviews yet
Minecraft's random item challenges usually have no progression. This mod changes that by introducing a custom resource, drop multiplication and endgame gear. (Intended for Skyblock)
Featuring a challenge world that gives the player limited starting starting area and resources typically a small island in a void world.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

Randinium Mod
NOTE: This mod is not perfectly polished and does have a couple of bugs. It was originally intended for a YouTube video. But if it has enough demand I will update it.
NOTE: Mod is intended for the official skyblock map but you can use it whereever you please.
Overview
Random items challenges on their own have basically no progression, so I had this mod custom-built to introduce levels of progression.
All drops are now random, both blocks and mobs drop random items. (With the exception of blocks breaking on their own e.g. leaf decay can drop saplings). There are 1600+ possible items you can possibly get, including items you can't typically obtain in survival like spawneggs.
BUT there's also a new custom drop out there you can get called Randinium, which is 3x rarer than any other item and can allow you to make very powerful tools that 4x your random drops.
The looting and fortune enchantments ALSO impact how many items you can get. And these even stack with the Randinium tools allowing you to get UP TO 16x the items.
Because Randinium is so rare though, there's a special new enchantment added that allows you to DOUBLE the drop rate of Randinium. And also has the added benefit of giving you a 50% chance to get an additional item. To get this enchantment you must first have your very first Randinium Drop, cook it up in the furnace and combine it with ANY vanilla tool in an anvil. Then it will enchant that tool.
There's also an endgame toolset called Stable Randinium Tools that will allow you to PREVENT random drops. It's not easy to obtain though.
Crafting Notes
- You can't use normal sticks to craft the tools in this mod. You need to use Randinium Rods or Stable Randinium Rods instead. A single Randinium Ingot surrounded by 4 sticks (in a plus sign) will create Randinium Rods.
- A Stable Randinium Ingot is crafted from 3 Randinium Ingots and 6 Gold ingots in ANY order in the crafting table.
- To make the Stable Randinium Rods you need to use 1 Stable Randinium Ingot surrounded by 4 Randinium Rods in a plus sign to craft them.
