Random Effect Challenge

A Minecraft challenge datapack where every 5 minutes, you receive a completely random maximum-level effect that can completely change your gameplay.

Can you survive when every new effect brings a new challenge?

🎮 How It Works

• Start the game by using the special Start Game item.
• Every 5 minutes, a random effect will be selected.
• The chosen effect will be applied with maximum level.
• Before receiving a new effect, the game gives you a short countdown so you can prepare.
• Every new effect replaces the previous one, meaning every round creates a completely different challenge.

Some effects will help you, while others will make survival much harder.

Note: If the level is 1, it means the effect works the same at level 1 and level 255, so the datapack uses level 1.

⚡ 01 — Speed

Level: 255 Tip: Shifting doesn't help, but maybe stay in water...

🦘 02 — Jump Boost

Level: 255 Tip: Gravity is optional.

💪 03 — Strength

Level: 255 Tip: One shot everyone!

👁️ 04 — Blindness

Level: 1 Tip: Trust your memories.

🚀 05 — Levitation

Level: 255 Tip: You better find a ceiling, or else we are heading to the moon!

🍃 06 — Slow Falling

Level: 1 Tip: The ground can wait.

⛏️ 07 — Haste

Level: 255 Tip: Obsidian? I thought it was a piece of dirt.

🐌 08 — Mining Fatigue

Level: 255 Tip: Dirt? I thought it was a piece of obsidian.

🔥 09 — Fire Resistance

Level: 1 Tip: Free blaze rods!

👻 10 — Invisibility

Level: 1 Tip: Time to do something sneaky!

🌙 11 — Night Vision

Level: 1 Tip: But I already have full bright texture packs...

🍗 12 — Hunger

Level: 255 Tip: You're wasting your energy even when you are just standing!

🥊 13 — Weakness

Level: 255 Tip: Punching is illegal.

Level: 255 Tip: Creative Mode!

❤️ 15 — Regeneration

Level: 255 Tip: Unlimited healing.

☠️ 16 — Poison
