Rare Rich Veins adds extremely rare, naturally generated large ore deposits to Minecraft while keeping vanilla ore generation completely unchanged. Explore new chunks to discover massive, configurable ore veins hidden deep underground.

Overview
Rare Rich Veins is a Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 Fabric mod that adds rare, naturally generated large ore deposits to newly generated chunks.
Normal vanilla ore generation remains unchanged. Rich veins generate separately and are designed to feel like rare discoveries instead of an unlimited source of materials.
Rich veins generate in irregular, branching shapes and support both normal stone and deepslate ore variants.

Rich veins only generate in newly explored chunks. Existing chunks will not be changed.
Normal generation always uses the configured percentages. Testing commands temporarily force a 100% chance so each ore can be tested easily.
Commands & Configuration
Commands
/richveins info
Displays information about the mod, enabled ores, and current configuration.
/richveins reload
Reloads supported configuration values without restarting the game or server.
/richveins test <ore>
Forces a rich vein of the selected ore to generate for testing.
Supported ore names:
coalironcoppergoldredstonelapisdiamondemerald
After a test vein generates, its coordinates appear in yellow in chat. Clicking the coordinates automatically fills this command into the chat box:
/tp @s x y z
This makes it easy for administrators to teleport directly to the generated vein.
Configuration
The server configuration allows you to:
- Enable or disable individual ores
- Change generation chances
- Change minimum and maximum vein sizes
- Adjust generation heights
- Configure allowed dimensions
- Control cave exposure
- Adjust valuable-vein spacing
- Enable debug logging
- Disable the entire mod

Rare Rich Veins supports both singleplayer worlds and dedicated Fabric servers.

Testing Rich Veins Commands Use /richveins test <ore> to instantly generate a rich vein for testing. Click the highlighted coordinates in chat to automatically fill the teleport command and jump straight to the generated deposit. -
Testing Large Rich Chat Messages After generating a test vein, the mod displays clickable coordinates in chat. Click them to automatically fill the teleport command and jump directly to the generated rich vein. The number of blocks generated may vary depending on your configuration. -
