Realistic Coords completely overhauls Minecraft's navigation by replacing abstract X/Y/Z numbers with a true geographic positioning system. Featuring a craftable GPS, physical coordinate logging, and emergency distress beacons, this mod transforms navigation from a simple HUD toggle into an immersive, tactical gameplay mechanic.

🧭 True Geographic Positioning

• Latitude & Longitude: The world grid is converted into Degrees, Minutes, and Seconds (DMS). The Equator and Prime Meridian sit at 0, with coordinates properly tracking North, South, East, and West.

• True Elevation: Y-levels are converted into Elevation Above Sea Level (ASL) in meters, where Y=63 is Mean Sea Level.

• Compass Bearings: Get exact 360° heading readouts for precise orienteering and flight navigation.

📡 The GPS Receiver & Compact UI

Information must be earned. Coordinates are hidden from the standard debug screen and are only accessible by holding the craftable GPS Receiver.

• Non-Intrusive Display: When held, the GPS cleanly displays your telemetry on the Action Bar (or a compact HUD), keeping your screen clear during combat or flight.

• Active Waypointing: Right-click with the GPS to save your exact location as a waypoint. Shift + Right-click to clear it.

🗺️ Hardcopy Intel (Physical Coordinate Logs)

Stop relying on the multiplayer chat to share base locations.

• Print to Paper: Hold standard Paper in your off-hand and Right-click with your GPS to print your current coordinates onto a physical "Coordinate Log".

• Load Data: Hand the Coordinate Log to another player. If they Right-click the paper while holding their own GPS, it instantly uploads the coordinates as their new active waypoint.

🚨 Search & Rescue: Distress Beacons

Craft and place the Distress Beacon, a rugged, custom-modeled tech block with a flashing red strobe.

• Emergency Broadcasting: When powered by a redstone signal, the beacon transmits an SOS on a 2048-block radius.

• Signal Detection: Any player within range holding a GPS Receiver will receive a flashing emergency alert on their HUD, showing the exact distance and heading to the active beacon.
