The sister mod to Realistic Campfires, changing how the vanilla torches works by requiring you to put more work in maintaining them.

To use this mod, download the mod it and move it to your .minecraft/mods folder. Additionally, you will need to install this mod on your server for it to work properly. The Fabric API jar for this mod is also needed for the client and server.

Features

Whenever you place down a torch, it will not be lit. In order to light it on fire, you need to grab either a flint and steel or two sticks and right-click the torch. By default, the torch will be lit for three (3) minutes before extinguishing. A torch can be extinguished early by right-clicking it.

Note: These properties of the mod can be customized via a datapack. See the docs for more information.

Other features include:

• Rain will extinguish the torch if the top of the torch block is exposed.

These features apply to both the regular torch and soul torch blocks. Redstone torches are not affected by this mod.

This mod is Fabric ONLY. There is no plan to support Neoforge.
