RealPain

RealPain is a challenge and survival mod that makes taking damage in Minecraft significantly more uncomfortable. Whenever the player loses health, an annoying, continuous beeping sound starts playing, constantly reminding the player that they are not at full health. The goal of the mod is to force players to always stay at full HP and actively avoid taking damage.

Features

Beeping sound when health is lost

As soon as the player is no longer at full hearts, an annoying beeping sound starts playing.

Dynamic volume based on HP

The sound automatically becomes louder the less health the player has.

The volume increases by 5% for every half-heart missing.

Silence at full health

As soon as the player returns to full HP, the sound stops completely (0% volume at full health).

Extremely annoying at low health

The closer the player is to death, the louder and more stressful the sound becomes.

This creates real pressure to heal quickly or escape dangerous situations.

Impact on gameplay

RealPain drastically changes the gameplay experience: taking damage is no longer just a few lost hearts, but a constant burden. Players are forced to become more careful, plan fights better, and pay more attention to food, potions, and healing.

The mod makes Minecraft survival feel more intense and “real,” because low HP can no longer be ignored. When injured, the player immediately notices it — and wants to get back to full health as quickly as possible.

Perfect for challenges and survival worlds

RealPain is especially suited for:

  • Hardcore or no-death challenges
  • Survival worlds with increased tension
  • Speedruns with extra pressure
  • Challenge videos and streaming content
  • Players looking for a harder, more stressful survival experience

Summary

RealPain is simple but effective: you don’t want to take damage — not because of death, but because of the sound.

Deutsch
