Description

1.21+ Recipe Backport Datapack

Bring the future of Minecraft crafting into your favorite modded worlds!

This datapack bridges the version gap by backporting crafting recipes from Minecraft 1.21.6 and above directly into older versions of the game.

Why use this datapack?

Many massive content mods—like the Create Mod—are firmly rooted in stable versions like 1.20.1. If you want to build complex automated factories but still want access to the latest vanilla items and crafting mechanics introduced in the newer updates, this pack handles it seamlessly.

Features

  • Modern Recipe Backport: Adds official crafting recipes from version 1.21.6+ into your current game.
  • Modpack Friendly: Designed specifically to work alongside major version-locked mods without breaking existing progression.
  • Lightweight: Vanilla-friendly implementation that won't impact server or client performance.

Installation

  1. Download the datapack zip file.
  2. Open your Minecraft world folder.
  3. Drop the zip file into the datapacks folder.
  4. If you are already in-game, type /reload to activate the new recipes!
