Description

Mirror

Working mirror blocks for Minecraft. Place a mirror on a wall and it shows a real, live reflection of the world around it, you included. No other rendering mods needed.

Live mirror reflections, running with Sodium

Features

  • A wood-framed mirror that shows a live reflection, correct from any angle you look at it.
  • You, other players and mobs, and the item in your hand all show up in the reflection.
  • Place mirrors side by side and they join into one big mirror, with the frame opening up between them.
  • Mirrors reflect other mirrors, so a mirror seen inside a reflection shows its own reflection.
  • Proper occlusion: anything in front of a mirror, walls and your held item included, hides the reflection behind it.
  • Reflections reach out to your render distance and fade into a soft fog you can adjust.

Crafting

Sticks in the corners, glass on the sides, and an amethyst shard in the middle:

stick glass stick
glass shard glass
stick glass stick

Place it on a wall and look. The mirror faces the way you place it.

Settings

Tune it from the in-game settings screen (through Mod Menu) or the config file: how many reflections show at once, how far they reach, whether mirrors reflect each other, and the fog. Changes apply right away. Reflections re-render the world, so if you want more frames, turn the reflection distance or count down.

Requirements

  • Fabric Loader and Fabric API
  • Optional: Mod Menu and Cloth Config for the in-game settings screen (the mod works fine without them)
  • In multiplayer, install it on the server and on every client

Available for Minecraft 26.1 and 26.2. Download the file that matches your version.
