About This Mod

Reinforced Shulker Boxes expands vanilla shulker storage with larger, tiered shulker boxes. It is useful for late-game storage, technical builds, mining sessions, travel, and large modded inventories.

This 26.2 port keeps the original idea intact while adding compatibility and quality-of-life updates for the current Fabric ecosystem.

  • Copper: 45 slots
  • Iron: 54 slots
  • Gold: 81 slots
  • Diamond: 108 slots
  • Netherite: 108 slots

  • Tiered progression

    • Upgrade from vanilla shulker boxes through copper, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite tiers.

  • Full color support

    • Reinforced shulker boxes support vanilla dye colors.
    • Colored boxes display their correct colored names in the GUI.

  • Responsive GUI

    • Large boxes render as full-size GUIs when the screen resolution can fit them.
    • At lower resolutions, the GUI automatically switches to a scrollable 9-column layout so it stays usable.

  • Mod Menu support

    • Configure the storage screen mode through Mod Menu.
    • Choose between full rendering and scroll-style rendering.

  • IronChests compatibility

    • Adds direct crafting recipes from IronChests chests into matching reinforced shulker boxes.

  • Shulker Box Tooltip support

    • Includes integration for tooltip previews when Shulker Box Tooltip is installed.

  • Keeps storage data during upgrades

    • Upgrade recipes use a special recipe type so existing contents/components are preserved when applicable.

Storage Sizes

At lower GUI resolutions, large boxes automatically fall back to a 9-column scroll layout.
