Description

Reload Audio Driver (RAD) [Fabric]

RAD is a simple, client-side only mod which allows you to reload the audio driver / sound library by pressing F3 + R. It also appears on the list when you press F3 + Q.

This is the fabric version of RAD. Looking for the forge version?

Why would I need this?

If you have dodgy headphones or accidentally had the wrong audio device selected, you would normally have to restart the game or reload the textures in order for Minecraft to update which device it needs to send it's audio to. Now we can simply press F3 + R and within a few milliseconds, we have sorted out the sound. This is especially useful when playing large modpacks where pressing F3 + T and reloading the textures can be particularly painful as there are possibly thousands of textures that are reloaded when all we needed was the sound to be reloaded.

Can I use this in my modpack?

Of course! This is the main reason I made this mod!
