Description
Rem's Enchantaporeum
Everything's more useful when it's enchanted :)
- Total Enchants: 806
- Total Curses: 63
There is a config is in your world's serverconfig/enchantaporeum-server.toml allowing you to disable and enable certain enchants specifically or categorically. Open the world once to generate it, then stop the world/server before editing and restart afterward. It accepts true/false or 1/0.
I wanted enchanting to reach the stuff vanilla left behind. Weapons and armor are only the start: fishing rods, workstations, mounts, buckets, maps, name tags, armor stands, and sticks all have their own tricks here.
Some enchants help you work. Some give you a new way to fight. Some are ridiculous. The curses aren't all friendly either.
What you can get into
- Combat: sword techniques, axe effects, bow and crossbow tricks, shields, and tridents.
- Armor: material-specific families, plus Toolbelt, Backpack, Quiver, and Reliquary storage.
- Fishing: bait, environment-specific catches, legendary struggles, and trophy fish.
- Utility: enchanted workstations, smaller tools, maps, armor stands, mounts, boats, and minecarts.
- Discovery: treasure books, profession trades, clue journals, and hidden Esoteric combinations.
- The weird stuff: curses, strange encounters, and far too much stick nonsense.
Not everything comes from an enchanting table. Explore, trade, fish, and read the clues. I'm leaving the secret recipes for you to figure out.
Don't worry I'll be looking into making it compatible between versions!
Installation
Use Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10 or newer in the 47.x series, and Java 17. Put enchantaporeum-1.0.0.jar in the mods folder. Multiplayer needs the same jar on both the client and server. Change keybinds in Minecraft's Controls menu.
Reporting problems
Include your Minecraft and Forge versions, what you did, and the relevant crash log. Back up your world before adding mods. Other-mod compatibility hasn't been exhaustively tested.
