About
Description
A mod made in roughly 2 weeks, stemming from the want to add alligators to minecraft.
!!!REQUIRES GECKOLIB TO RUN!!!
Most recent update -
- Decreased Beetle drop rate
- Greatly decreased Chameleon Scale drop rate
- Fixed creative tab name
- Fixed shadow sizes
- Added one new Gecko variant
Currently, this mod adds eight mobs (planned to be expanded on in the future):
- The Crocodile, found in savannas and rarely on beaches. Brush them to collect scutes, which you can use to make a block that works similarly to a cactus, or a chestpiece with additional thorns.
- The Alligator, found in swamps and mangrove swamps. Brush them to collect scutes, which you can use to make Gator-Glide Boots that let you swim faster in water.
- The Caiman, found in jungles. Brush them to collect scutes, which you can use to make leggings that increase your land movement speed.
- The Gharial, found rarely along rivers. Brush them to collect scutes, which you can use to prove you've found one.
- The Gecko, found in jungles and forests. Feed them beetles to tame them, and carry them around on your head.
- The Chameleon, found in jungles. Wait for them to shed their scales, and dye those scales to change the color of glass and wool without having to pick the blocks up.
- The Giant Tortoise, found in wooded badlands and rarely in mushroom fields. Brush them to collect scutes, which you can use alongside a netherite ingot to craft a much more durable shield.
- And lastly, the Komodo Dragon, found in swamps and rarely on stony shores, which apply the Bile effect on hit. Bile makes it so when you take damage from a mob or player, you get poison applied for a short duration. It drops balls of bile, which can be brewed into bile potions.
Have fun with all the reptiles!
