🌍 Resource Dimensions / Resource Worlds
A powerful mod that dynamically creates and deletes resource gathering dimensions in Minecraft.
Resource Dimensions / Resource Worlds allows servers and players to generate temporary dimensions at runtime for the sole purpose of gathering resources. These worlds are deleted automatically when the server shuts down, ensuring that no chunk data is wasted on the disk. It's the perfect solution for servers that want to protect their main worlds from griefing or over-exploration.
🛠️ Originally Designed for Resource Gathering
This mod was designed with resource gathering in mind, offering players the ability to mine, farm, and explore in dedicated temporary worlds without worrying about damaging the main world. It’s ideal for multiplayer servers that want to keep their Overworld pristine and claim-based, or for single-player worlds that need to maintain a clean environment.
🧰 How It Works
- 🌍 Temporary Resource Worlds – When the server starts, a new resource world is automatically created.
- 🗑️ Auto-Deletion on Shutdown – Once the server stops, the resource world and any associated chunk data are deleted automatically, ensuring minimal disk usage.
- 🚀 /goto Command – Easily teleport between the Overworld and resource worlds with the
/gotocommand. For example:/goto resourceworld– Teleport to the resource world/goto ow– Teleport to the Overworld
- 🛏️ Safe Teleportation – When teleporting, the mod uses your bed spawn point (if set) for a safe landing. If no bed spawn exists, you’re teleported to the nearest safe surface.
🌐 Features
- 📅 Auto-Creation and Deletion – Automatically creates resource worlds at server start and deletes them on server exit to save space
- 🏞️ Safe and Clean Resource Gathering – Gather resources in dedicated worlds without damaging the Overworld
- 🌍 /goto Command – Easily switch between the Overworld and resource worlds
- 💾 Optimized for Minimal Disk Usage – Temporary worlds that don’t waste space, ensuring only active data is saved
🌍 Use Cases
- 🛠️ Grief-Proof Servers – Create resource worlds for players to mine without affecting a claim-based Overworld?
- 🌱 Clean Singleplayer Worlds – Use resource worlds to keep your main world pristine and avoid griefing or over-exploration
