Resource Pack Optimizer is a lightweight Minecraft mod designed to help clean up unnecessary cache files and clutter found inside downloaded resource and texture packs. The mod automatically detects newly downloaded resource packs, creates a temporary copy, extracts the contents, and searches through the pack for unnecessary cached files.

By removing or clearing unwanted cache and clutter, the mod aims to reduce unnecessary files being loaded or processed by Minecraft, helping improve overall resource-pack management and potentially providing smoother gameplay and more consistent FPS. The optimizer runs automatically in the background while Minecraft is running, so you don't have to manually locate, extract, or clean resource packs yourself.

The goal of Resource Pack Optimizer is to provide a simple, automated way to keep downloaded resource packs cleaner and more efficient while maintaining the original resource-pack files untouched.
