Description
ReTerraforged Unofficial
New in 0.0.6004: The Nether no longer generates as a ruin cut to the overworld's height, and entering it or choosing the preset with Immersive Portals no longer crashes. Chunks generated before stay as they are.
TerraForged's terrain on Minecraft 1.21.1, for NeoForge and Fabric. The overworld is shaped from a heightmap instead of vanilla's noise: mountain ranges, river valleys, plateaus and coastlines. An unofficial continuation under the MIT licence: TerraForged is by dags and Won-Ton, and this builds on Equalizer32's NeoForge port and racoonman2's ReTerraForged. Please do not ask the original authors for help with it.

Presets and settings
- The world-creation screen has a preset list and ten pages of settings, from world and climate to rivers, islands and structures.
- A live preview sits beside the settings as a 2D map and a 3D view.
- Six presets are built in: five legacy TerraForged ones and "Modern Default with 3D Rivers". Create, copy and delete your own, and export any preset as a datapack.

Erosion and rivers
- Erosion is simulated with water droplets, which cuts gullies into the slopes.
- Each continent gets its own rivers, with lakes and wetlands along them.
- The island page adds archipelagos next to the continents.

Compatibility
- Most biome and structure mods sit on top of the terrain, among them Biomes O' Plenty, Regions Unexplored, Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Biolith and YUNG's structures.
- TerraBlender is detected automatically; two sliders set how often mountain and volcano terrain gets a mountain or volcano biome.
- Terralith: use the datapack version and delete
data/minecraft/worldgen/density_function/overworld/sloped_cheese.json, or the ridges come out as blocky squares. - Lithostitched 1.5.7 works; 1.7.2 did not load.
Requirements
Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, NeoForge 21.1 or Fabric (with Fabric API). It generates the world, so it has to be on the server; in singleplayer that is your own game. SwiftGen is optional: it speeds up world creation and /locate without changing what generates.
This mod has been abandoned. It works fine, but it will not receive updates.
Related mods
NeoForge and Fabric 1.21.1, on the server. MIT, like the original. Free to use in modpacks.
