Revamped Phantoms (UNOFFICIAL)

An unofficial Fabric backport of Revamped Phantoms by Luke Bemish for Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1. It brings the original phantom behavior to a version that does not have an upstream release. This project is separate from and not affiliated with the original author.

Features

  • Phantoms hunt livestock and villagers.
  • Their shockwave stuns prey, and phantoms can grab and carry prey.
  • Cats frighten phantoms.
  • Original textures, effect icon, and configuration options are retained.

Compatibility

  • Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1
  • Fabric Loader 0.16.10 or newer
  • Fabric API 0.92.12 or newer for Minecraft 1.20.1

Install Fabric API alongside the mod. This is a beta backport: the Fabric client was smoke-tested through startup to the main menu, but in-world gameplay has not yet been validated.
