Description

The Revani Additions adds 6 new food related items. 

Revani is one of the desserts in Turkish cuisine. It is a dessert invented by the palace cooks in honor of the conquest of Armenia and Yerevan during the Ottoman period and called "Revani" because of the Yerevan victory.

Revaniye is also called sponge dessert or yogurt dessert in some places. The dessert contains yoghurt. It is a sweet dessert. There is a recipe for revani in the first printed cookbook, Melceü't-Tabbâhîn. Recipes are given in Ali Eşref Dede's Cookbook, New Method Cookbook and Mecmuâ-i Fevâid.
