⏪ Reverse Tape – Rewind Your Mistakes!
Ever fallen into lava in the Nether? Slipped into a ravine while exploring? Got caught by a Creeper explosion you didn’t see coming?
Reverse Tape is here to save your day — or at least the last few seconds of it.
This mod lets you rewind your own time, undoing your most recent movements and actions to escape danger or fix mistakes. The rewind affects only the player, not the world — so explosions, enemy movements, or world changes still happen. But you? You go back to how you were a few seconds ago.
💡 For example: A Creeper explodes behind you and nearly kills you — by rewinding, you return to your previous location, health, hunger, fire status, and more. It's like the explosion never happened to you.
🕹️ How it works:
- Hold the key bound to “Reverse Time” (default: Numpad 0) to start rewinding.
- Rewinding costs a small amount of XP (experience points).
- You can change the key in Options → Controls → Key Binds.
- You can adjust how far back the rewind goes using:
/gamerule reverseTimeTick <number>(default is 200 ticks = 10 seconds).
🎮 No items required — just press and hold to reverse time and get a second chance.
