REQUIRE MEKANISM /!\
The RF Clocker is an Mekanism addon that can dramatically increase machine and block performance by accelerating game ticks within a 3×3 chunk area. When powered, it speeds up the tick rate of blocks and machines inside its range, allowing Mekanism factories, processing lines, farms, and other automated systems to operate significantly faster than normal.
This makes it especially useful for:
Large-scale ore processing setups High-throughput Mekanism production chains Automated resource farms Energy generation systems Late-game industrial bases that require maximum efficiency
However, this increased speed comes at a substantial cost. The RF Clocker consumes a very large amount of energy while active, and the power requirement increases with the acceleration level being applied. Running it continuously without a strong energy infrastructure can quickly drain your power network and potentially shut down critical systems.
Before using an RF Clocker, it is recommended to have a stable and high-capacity power source, such as advanced Mekanism generators, large battery buffers, or other late-game energy solutions. Monitoring your energy production and consumption is essential to avoid unexpected power shortages.
While the RF Clocker can greatly reduce processing times and boost overall production, excessive use may also increase server load and affect performance on multiplayer servers. For this reason, it should be used strategically and only when the benefits outweigh the energy and performance costs.
