RGB Chat Vintage
A fork of joyscar's RGB Chat mod, focusing on rgb text feature.
What's changed?
- A better font renderer by great Kasumi_Nova.
- Some minor issues like width calculation have been fixed.
- All the blocks and items, which are surprisingly client side only, have been removed.
- All the other features are not exist, since joyscar did not release the source code for version 0.2 and above.
- Mod ID has been changed to "rgbchat".
Usage
After version 2.0, the mod needs MixinBooter to work.
The text pattern should be the same as the rgb text format in original 0.2 version. Check the original's page.
License?
While the original mod on CurseForge is marked as "All Rights Reserved," the author (joyscar) released the version 0.1 source code on GitHub under the MIT license.
This fork is licensed under LGPL-3.0, as it merged the optimized font renderer from StellarCore, which is also licensed under LGPL-3.0.
