Riftborne

Rift Alloy is a staple of forgemanship, able to take and bear even more force than most other things. With these new sets of armor and tools come a plethora of extra goodies for you to aquire.

Rift Alloy:
Rift Alloy is crafted with 4 Netherite Ingots, 2 Emeralds, and 3 Eyes of Ender. Using it, you can take your netherite armor over to a smithing table and get yourself a new coat of arms, tankier and more durable than Netherite. Not only that, but using the armor in it's full set applies resistance to your character! Damage will feel like a mere itch to scratch. Not only is it powerful, who said you just have to worry about this armor? Take it a step further, with a few other armor sets, each avalible to be smithed with your new Rift armor! All of them grant you Resistance, as well as other effects.

Quickrift applies Speed, so you can get in, do damage, and get out. (8 Redstone Blocks)

Soulrift gives you regeneration, so you can shrug off even more damage. (8 Soul Bottles, obtained by surrounding a glass bottle with 8 soul sand.)

Skyrift grants you Slow Falling and Jump boost while you've got it equipped, so jump in that ravine. What's gonna kill you? Not the ground. (8 Phantom Membrane)

Heatrift grants you perpetual fire resistance, nether traversal has never been easier. (8 Fire Charges)

Aquirift grants water breathing, and haste, making it the second of the only two armor sets in the modpack to grant you three abilities in total. (8 Prismarine Shards)
