Description

Rpg Backpacks is a mod that adds four new backpacks, Leather, Copper, Phantom Membrane, and Netherite. Phantom Membrane is a way to make backpacks still have a diamond category without it literally being made of Diamond, cuz I felt like it.

The pouches to increase your inventory size, with the maximum inventory size being associated with the tier of the backpack, have two tiers as well, Regular Pouch, and Big Pouch. The Regular Pouch increases your slot amount you have stored in the backpack by 2, while the Big Pouch increases it by 6. You can drag Pouches out while in the inventory to set them back in your inventory without hassle, and you can re-put them in the backpack via an anvil.

Backpacks have a base of four pouches, to reflect their crafting recipe requiring 2 Regular Pouches. Backpacks also have up to 3 utility slots for crafting/brewing/smelting blocks that work even while not actively placed down or in the backpack. The Leather Backpack doesn’t have any utility slots, while the Copper has 1, Phantom has 2, and Netherite has 3.

Without Curios installed, there isn't an easy way to equip a backpack in creative mode, because I wasn't able to get the slot for the backpack to directly sync up with the creative inventory system, so there is a button that opens the survival inventory so you can put your backpack on even in creative.

Functions:

  1. The backpacks have a inventory system like Resident Evil, where some items take up 2x1 or 1x2, and some take up 2x2, even if their regular item form takes up only one slot of your inventory, to make you strategize more about your usage of the backpacks.

  2. There is a mute button, which mutes the completion noises of various utility blocks when they are cooking, and an alphabetical sort, and an regular sort (sorts by just taking items and making them stack automatically when put in the backpack).

  3. You can hold shift while clicking on pouches to get multiple stacked up for you to place, and you can click/drag empty slots to put them back into your stored slots, or hold shift to get multiple dragged at once.

  4. You can right click on items while hovering over slots, if them take up 1x2 or 2x1 to rotate them how you want.

  5. You can drag stored slots back to your inventory to convert them back into items as I previously mentioned.
