Description
🎣 Rybalka
A full fishing game inside Minecraft, inspired by classic fishing simulators. Start on a tiny island in the middle of endless water, catch fish, sell your catch, buy better tackle and become the best angler on the server.
🐟 Fish
- 113 species — freshwater (roach, bream, pike, zander, taimen, grayling, whitefish, salmon, sturgeons, carps, exotic arapaima and piranha…) and saltwater (cod, halibut, mackerel, tuna, swordfish, monkfish…).
- Rarity from common to legendary, individual weight, trophies ★ and unique specimens ✦ — announced to the whole server.
- Each species lives in its own water (river / lake / swamp / sea), climate (cold / warm) and bites at its own time of day. Predators love rain.
🎮 Line-tension fight
When a fish bites, a tension bar appears. Hold right-click to reel in — but watch the tension: overload the line and it snaps, give too much slack and the fish takes all your line. Release when the fish runs!
🧰 Tackle & bait
- Rods: float rod, feeder (big fish from the bottom), spinning rod (predators, lures only).
- Lines: mono → fluorocarbon → braid. Reels: basic → sport → power.
- Bait: worms, maggots, bread, steamed wheat, fish bait. Lures: spoon, wobbler, jig (lost if the line snaps).
- Every fish prefers its own bait. Attach tackle by right-clicking it onto the rod in your inventory.
💰 Economy
- Copper, silver and gold coins.
- Fishing Shop: sell all your fish with one click, buy tackle, bait and resources.
- Tackle unlocks with your angler level.
- Villagers trade for coins instead of emeralds. You can even fish up a villager spawn egg — villagers from eggs get a random profession.
🏝️ Angler's World
A new world type: water to the horizon and nothing else. You spawn on a small island with a shop, a keepnet, a tree, a dock and a boat.
- The water is split into zones — rivers, lakes, swamps and seas, cold and warm. Take the boat to find sturgeon, trout or tuna!
- Resources come from your hook: logs, saplings, dirt, stone, ore, seeds and more — or buy them in the shop.
In a normal world the mod builds a small pond island at spawn and fish depend on the biome.
📊 Progress
- Angler levels and XP, personal bests, server trophy board.

Installation
Requires Fabric API.
Install on the server and every player. Singleplayer — just your client.
To create an Angler's World: More World Options → World Type → Angler's World. On a server: level-type=rybalka\:fishing_world in server.properties (new world).
Not compatible with Bite & Reel (both change fishing).
