Sandwichable Revived
Version: 1.0.0+mc26.3-neoforge — Minecraft 26.3 — NeoForge — Java 25
Build your own sandwich, one layer at a time. Grow the ingredients, slice bread on a cutting board, toast it, and put together a meal at the Sandwich Table.
A kitchen worth building
- Sandwich Table: assemble layered sandwiches, pick them up, eat them or place them in the world.
- Cutting boards and Redstone Toaster: slice ingredients and toast bread, with new toaster sounds and subtitles.
- Crops: grow lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and Ancient Grain.
- Cheese and pickles: use basins, cheese cultures and pickle jars; collect salt with the Redstone Desalinator or from salty sand.
- Out in the world: shrubs, salty sand and salt pools, village sandwich stands and the Sandwich Maker profession.
- Sandwich Table Minecart: take your sandwich workstation onto the rails.
Additions and changes in this port
- Farmer villagers can harvest and plant the mod's crops, using its tagged seeds and normal farming rules.
- Optional sandwich stacking:
stackIdenticalSandwichesallows sandwiches with identical components to stack up to 64. It is off by default. - More ingredients through data packs:
sandwichable:extra_sandwich_ingredientsallows non-food layers, including sugar, salt and flowers by default. Adding an item to this tag does not give it food value. - NeoForge configuration, including world-generation switches and a configurable limit on sandwich layers drawn in the inventory and hand.
- Fixes for shared salt-water tint state, food-list copying, missing item data, dispenser handling, jam bottle returns and world-generation config checks. Sneaking with an empty hand lets you take your sandwich off the table.
- Includes upstream English, German and Simplified Chinese translations.
This is not a pixel-for-pixel recreation: salt-pool generation, brine particles, basin/jar fluid visuals and minecart rendering were adapted. The original guide book and REI integration are not included.
Optional integrations
None of these mods is required by Sandwichable Revived. Choose their NeoForge files for your Minecraft version and install their own dependencies separately.
- JEI: cutting-board and toaster recipe categories.
- Croptopia: ingredient tags and peanut-butter/jam spreads when the corresponding items exist.
- RightClickHarvest: crop support, including a tag exempting these crops from its hoe requirement.
- AppleSkin: sandwich food-value information.
- Jade: toaster, basin and pickle-jar information.
Installation and world safety
Install the mod on the server and every client. For singleplayer, install it in your client instance. NeoForge is required; Fabric API and the original Sandwichable are not dependencies.
New worlds only. There is no migration from older Fabric Sandwichable worlds. The port uses new data components, changed registry identifiers and a different configuration/gamerule schema. Do not open an existing Sandwichable world with this port expecting its blocks, items or sandwich contents to convert. Keep backups and your original instance separate.
Credits and license
- FoundationGames: original Sandwichable, code and upstream assets; MIT, Copyright (c) 2022 FoundationGames. The original license notice is preserved in the mod file.
- NightEpiphany: MIT-licensed fork used as a reference for food-list copying and advancement fixes. Potion handling and client/server separation were reworked for this port rather than copied verbatim.
- Upstream translation contributors: included German and Simplified Chinese translations.
- DEHunter58711: unofficial NeoForge port and additions; new toaster sounds dedicated under CC0 (documented in the included
NOTICE).
The mod includes LICENSE and NOTICE. MIT permits inclusion in modpacks with the license notice preserved.
