Description

This mod is a spiritual successor to Deep Mob Learning: Blood Magic Addon that mainly adds a single block, the Virtual Sacrificer.

BEFORE UPDATING FROM 1.0.1 TO 1.0.2+ USE THE CONVERSION FILE AND REMOVE ALL DEPRECATED ITEMS / BLOCKS. YOU MUST LAUNCH THE GAME WITH THE CONVERSION MOD, CONVERT ALL ITEMS, THEN YOU CAN INSTALL VERSION 1.0.2+

This block, when connected to a blood altar, consumer power and generates blood, but only if a model is inserted.


The type of model defines how much energy is consumed and how much blood is generated. The tier also affects the blood, but not the power.


The Virtual Sacrificer also accepts catalysts, items that can boost the blood produced for a certain amount of operations. Another boost supported is how many sacrifice runes are placed in the altar structure.

Almost everything in this mod is configurable, from the speed of the machine, to the blood and energy of the models, to the catalysts and the boost given by each tier.

 
All configs can be found in the common config folder.

From version 1.1.0+ the models and catalyst config are moved to recipes, and must be changed with a datapack

The mod also contains jei addons for the models and the catalysts

Full credits to the original mod for the idea, to the Blood Magic team for the blood orb and sacrifice rune texture, and to the Hostile Neural Network team for most of the assets, including but not limited to:
- The original logo
- The machine models and textures
- The gui textures, used as base for this mod's ones
