Description

Scipi's-Lights

A small NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that adds glowing glass.

There are many glass mods out there, but most of them run into the same problem: the glowing glass isn't compatible with mods like Copycats, so you can't use it as a light source inside a copycat block. Scipi's-Lights solves that by adding plain, self-contained glowing glass and glass pane blocks that behave like normal glass blocks and therefore work fine with copycats.

Features

  • Glowing glass and glass panes in all 16 Minecraft dye colors, plus a colorless variant.
  • Each color comes in two light strengths:
    • Soft (light level 8)
    • Strong (light level 15)
    • Crafting recipes to turn vanilla (stained) glass and glass panes into their glowing counterparts using glowstone (strong) or glowstone dust (soft).
    • All blocks are tagged under scipislights:glowing_glass_blocks / scipislights:glowing_glass_panes and contribute to the common c:glass_blocks / c:glass_panes tags, so other mods and datapacks recognize them as glass.
