About
Description
• It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to install Quark together with Biobees Reinforced Blocks. The mod will work fine without Quark, but you will not be able to make some reinforced blocks in survival, as vanilla 1.12.2 does not have these types of blocks.
• Over 100 Reinforced Blocks
• Reinforced Blocks is a mod used to reinforce Cobblestone, Andesite, Diorite and Granite blocks, stairs and slabs
• Reinforcing blocks is done by using the Reinforcement Installation Kit
• Removing Reinforcement is done by using the Reinforcement Removal Kit
• There are 4 Tiers of Reinforcement: Iron, Steel, Diamond and Dragons Cales
- To Reinforce a block to Iron, you need Iron Ingots
- To Reinforce a block to Steel, you need Iron Ingots and Coal Blocks
- To Reinforce a block to Diamond, you need Diamonds
- To Reinforce a block to Dragon Scales, you need Diamonds and Obsidian
• To use the Reinforcement Installation Kit, you need to have the right materials in your inventory, then right click the block you want to reinforce while having the RIK in hand
• To use the Reinforcement Removal Kit, you need to right click the block you want to desinforce while having the RRK in hand
- When Desinforced, a Iron reinforced block will have a 75% chance of dropping an Iron Ingot
- When Desinforced, a Steel reinforced block will have a 100% chance of dropping an Iron Ingot
- When Desinforced, a Diamond reinforced block will have a 75% chance of dropping an Iron Ingot
- When Desinforced, a Dragon Scales reinforced block will have a 100% chance of dropping an Iron Ingot
• Reinforced Blocks are much stronger than usual blocks, but their strength depends on the material used to reinforce them.
- Iron Reinforced Blocks have 0.5x the stength of Obsidian
- Steel Reinforced Blocks have 1x the stength of Obsidian
- Diamond Reinforced Blocks have 2x the stength of Obsidian
- Dragon Scales Reinforced Blocks have 4x the stength of Obsidian
• All Reinforced Blocks have different blast resistance proprieties. Iron and Steel Reinforced Blocks can be broken by a TNT. But Diamond and Dragon Scales Reinforced Blocks cannot be broken by it.
• All Reinforced Blocks react differently to pistons. Iron and Steel Reinforced Blocks can freely be pushed or pulled by pistons. But Diamond Reinforced Blocks can only be pushed by pistons, while Dragon Scales Reinforced Blocks cannot be manipulated by pistons at all.
• Images of all the Reinforced Blocks and also the recipes for the RIK and the RRK can be found below
• The initiative to create this mod came from making the next generation for my modpack, Biobees (a Zombie Apocalypse modpack that wants to take things to the Extreme).
• Even though I created the mod for my modpack, everyone is allowed to use it in their own modpacks!
• Be sure to expect New Updates in the future, with New Ways of Reinforcing (such as Mesh) and New Block Types!
