Description

SCP-109 — Infinite Canteen

A faithful adaptation of the SCP Foundation's SCP-109 for Minecraft: a canteen that never runs dry, and whose water does a little more than quench thirst.

ABOUT SCP-109
Item #: SCP-109 | Object Class: Euclid

SCP-109 is a standard-issue U.S. Army canteen (circa 1899), made of a tin alloy with a cotton cover and a black leather strap. An apparently limitless amount of water can be drawn from it without its internal level or mass ever changing. The water carries trace amounts of dissolved tin — bathing in it improves complexion and restores vigor, and plants watered with it grow noticeably healthier.

FEATURES
- An item that never runs out, no matter how many times you use it
- Right-click to drink: grants Regeneration and Saturation, with a proper drinking animation instead of an instant effect
- Right-click on animals to heal them
- A rare (1 in 100) unexplained side-effect on use — because nobody fully understands how SCP-109 works
-Track down the single, absurdly rare structure hidden somewhere in the world if you'd rather earn it the hard way

THE CATCH
This isn't a free lunch. Every sip quietly builds up your body's tin exposure. Drink in moderation and you'll never notice it. Chug it constantly, though, and the tin starts working against you — nausea first, then weakness — until you let it wear off. It's the same "too good to be true" tension the original SCP file hints at, turned into an actual risk/reward loop instead of a flat buff.

REQUIREMENTS

- Made with MCreator
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Minecraft Forge
