Mobs that live on your screen. They walk over your HUD and interfere with playing: dragging your health bar, stealing items from your inventory, and running off with your hotbar.

About

Description

A tiny 3D mob lives on your screen. It walks across your HUD and open menus, minds its own business - and occasionally causes mischief. Every prank is optional and configurable.

What it does

Steals your hunger bar and drags it around until it slides back home:

Steals your health bar:

Runs off with your hotbar:

Steals items from open inventories and throws them out into the world. Click the thief - or the item in its hands - to rescue it in time. Theft goes through real inventory clicks, so it works even on vanilla servers with the mod installed client-side only:

Make it a scene

Add as many mobs as you like, each with its own model, variant and size, and save scenes as named presets:

Several mobs walking around the screen at once

Any living mob in the game is available, with a searchable list and live preview:

Resource packs

Pack models, textures and animations work on the HUD too -— models keep their walking animations, and named pack variants (like custom enderman skins) can be picked right in the panel. Here with Fresh Animations and its addons:

How to use

  • Install with Fabric API and join a world - a friend appears on your HUD.
  • Press H to open the customization panel: mobs, variants, sizes, presets.
  • Mobs also idle on their own: cats, wolves and parrots sit, bipeds sit down, bats roost upside down at the top of the window.
  • With Cloth Config and ModMenu installed (both optional) you get advanced settings: how often pranks happen, which ones are allowed, and manual event triggers.
  • Client-side only. Nothing is installed on the server.

Works great with

EMF ETF Fresh Animations

Entity Model Features, Entity Texture Features and Fresh Animations: pack models animate on the HUD just like in the world, and mobs whose pack animates riding sit using the pack's own animation.
