About

Description

This is a simple datapack that makes Guard Villagers (from the mod) serious, by giving them better default equipment and weapons, in a vanilla and balanced way, yet strong enough to fight back the modded mobs.

This small project was created in my free time as a student. If you like my projects, please consider to support me for more future projects and support!

Detailed features:

  1. All guards will spawn with at least leather full armor. guards might have better armors and weapons set individually by small chances.
  2. Guards will always have an off hand item (see below for list).
  3. Guards will randomly spawn with items for melee or range variant (see below for list).
  4. Rare equipment will always have Curse of Vanishing, making them unobtainable by killing the guards. This is for keeping the balance of the game.

  • This datapack use the functionally given by the mod Guard Villagers to change thier equipment and is unneeded to mention that it is required for this datapack, as the changes are applied to this mod mobs.

  • You may also use it in modpacks as long as the modpack is noncommercial and also, all the specified above credits are given.
  • This datatack might conflict with other datapacks or mods that also alter the Guard Villagers equipment, causing some equipment to not be given or be given additionally to the loot table defined in the other mods/datapacks. I am not and wouldn't be responsible for any conflicts/breaks that happens because such cases.
