About
Description
ServerStabilizer is a lightweight server-side performance utility for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 designed to detect server lag, monitor TPS/MSPT, identify heavy entity activity, and help keep your server running smoothly.
ServerStabilizer continuously watches server performance and can warn players when the server begins falling behind. If performance stays degraded, it can automatically perform controlled entity cleanup based on configurable limits instead of blindly deleting everything.
Features
-
Monitors TPS and MSPT
-
Detects sustained server lag and tick delays
-
Sends server-wide chat warnings before automatic stabilization
-
Default 2-minute warning countdown
-
Cancels cleanup automatically if server performance recovers

Configurable entity limits for mobs, items, projectiles, vehicles, and more
-
Protects players from cleanup
-
Designed to protect named, tamed, and important entities
-
Tracks loaded chunks and entity counts across dimensions
-
Creates diagnostic reports to help locate performance problems
-
Includes a watchdog for detecting serious server-thread stalls
-

Commands
/serverstabilizer status

/serverstabilizer scan
Runs a manual diagnostic scan.
/serverstabilizer report
Generates a detailed server performance report.
/serverstabilizer cleanup
Runs entity stabilization manually.
/serverstabilizer laststall
Shows information from the most recently detected server stall.
Automatic Stabilization
When ServerStabilizer detects sustained performance problems, players can receive warnings such as:
Server lag detected — automatic stabilization will run in 2 minutes if lag continues.
Additional warnings can appear at 1 minute, 30 seconds, and 10 seconds.
If TPS/MSPT returns to normal before the countdown finishes, ServerStabilizer cancels the cleanup automatically.
The goal of ServerStabilizer is not to aggressively remove entities—it is to detect what is putting pressure on the server and react only when necessary.
Stable server. Smoother gameplay. Less guessing when TPS starts dropping.
