Description

Tired of running around with a bed just to set a spawn point? SSP will make your survival easier!

Mod Description: "Set A Spawn Point" (SSP)

This mod introduces radius-based randomized respawning around your set spawn point. You can configure a radius from 1 to 100 blocks – the larger the radius, the more varied your respawn locations after death. A radius of 1 works like vanilla spawn, while larger values add unpredictability to gameplay.

Demonstration of radius:

SSP enhances Minecraft's default spawn mechanics, making it more convenient and secure. It allows players to quickly set spawn points at their current location while automatically verifying suitability (e.g., preventing spawns in lava, water, or unsafe blocks).

Key Features

  • Safety Checks: The spawn point won't be set on blocks that could lead to death or getting stuck (lava, water, etc.).

  • Smart Alternatives: If your current position is unsafe, the mod automatically finds the nearest valid spot within range.

  • Nether/End Support

  • Hotkey Controls: HOME – Set spawn at current position. END – Open configuration GUI.

  • Customizable Radius (1-100 blocks): Respawn in random locations within your set radius (1 = vanilla behavior).

  • Spawn Reset: Use the GUI button or /resetspawn command to revert to world spawn.

Quick Usage Guide

Set Spawn Point Press HOME (default) to set your respawn point. The mod will validate blocks beneath and above you, searching for alternatives if needed.

Configure Settings Press END to adjust the safety-check radius (1-100 blocks), which determines how far the mod searches for valid respawn positions.

Reset Spawn Click "Reset Spawn Point" in the GUI or type /resetspawn to return to world spawn.

Notes

  • Works in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
  • Clear error messages explain why spawn setting fails.
  • Seamlessly integrates with vanilla mechanics.

⚠️Warning!

This is an FIRST REALESE of the mod, there may be bugs! The mod will also be updated to other versions if you like it!
