Welcome to the Shadow Weaponry Mod Page!
Now for Fabric and Forge! (Check Files)
Why Shadow Weaponry?
Personally, I always prefer a good Mod that adds Vanilla+ Style Weapons. When playing Forge my go-to Mod is was always Spartan Weaponry, but for Fabric I am kind of missing a simple Weapon Mod.
So this is what this Mod does, adding vanilla style weapons to the game, giving oppertunities to become stronger beyond netherite without making the Player overpowered too easily.
Full list of Additions can be found here (You can find plenty of screenshots in the "images" tab, some might be outdated though):
Amethyst Plated Netherite Sword:
-Has a higher Enchantability
-Using Right-Click, you are granted Speed and Strenght at the cost oft EXP.
Emerald Plated Netherite Sword:
-Has a higher Attack Speed
-Using Right-Click, you are granted Night Vision and Slight Resistance at no major cost
Frostbitten Netherite Sword:
-Passively inflicts Slowness and Weakness
-Using Right-Click, you are granted high Resistance at the cost of Slowness
Echoing Netherite Sword:
-Boosts Strength
-Using Right-Click, you are granted very high Strenght with the cost of getting blinded and EXP
Quickswords:
Alternative to normal swords: less Base Damage, higher Attack Speed
Greatswords:
Higher Damage, slower Attack Speed
Battle Hammers:
Taking it away from Swords, another awesome weapon you can have your battles with.
Battle Axes:
Strong Axe. Well, for Battle
Wither Core Sword:
Crafted from Netherite and a Netherstar, it's for sure one of the mightiest Weapons of them all! With high damage and attack speed, special traits and abilities, it sure does its job.
Copper Weapons:
All Weapons can now be crafted out of Copper!
Leeching Enchantment:
Upon killing an enemy with the Leeching enchantment, you gain health depending on the level of the Enchantment:
Leeching I: 3HP (1.5 Hearts)
Leeching II: 6HP (3 Hearts)
Leeching III: 9HP (4.5 Hearts)
Q&A
Q: Can I use this Mod in my own Modpack or video and distribute it?
A: Yes, everyone is 100% free to use it in publically available Modpacks or use it for videos. In fact, seeing people use the Mod would really make me happy!
Q: Can you add/ change/ remove ... in/ from your Mod
A: Obviosly, I cannot follow every wish from the players, however suggestive ideas of what I could add or change (removing is pretty unlikely) you can always write a comment and it will be appriciated. Anything from stat changes to maybe a texture you don't like, try to be as detailed as possible though.
Q: Will there be more Weapons in the future?
A: Yes, there will. There will be a lot more.
Q: Did you steal that from ...???
A: While many items might seem familiar to other mods, I can asure you that all Items are hand-textured/modeled. Other Mods often impliment similar features as this is a fairly simple Mod. Note that of course, I still take a lot of inspiration from pictures online or even actual other Mods (for example Spartan Weaponry), and I will try to credit as much as possible when it comes to a certain point.
Q: Is there going to be a version downport/ will it be available for next versions?
A: Version downports are not planned at the time. When newer versions come out, I will do my best to update the Mod as soon as possible. Might take a while though.
Side Note:
Consider using the JEI Mod to keep up with all the Recipes.
