Information

Shadowmons is a Cobblemon sidemod that adds Shadow Pokémon! Shadow Pokémon have glowing red eyes and a dark purple aura, and they're overflowing with dark energy in battle, dealing and taking 25% more damage. Shadow Pokémon can be purified using a Purification Crystal, made from 9 Purification Fragments. Purifying a Shadow Pokémon raises its IVs, it needs less EXP to level up, and it gets a light-white aura.

Shadowmons is meant to be added on with 'Prepare for Trouble'. Without it, Shadow Pokémon spawn in the wild at night, and Purification Fragments are crafted with Amethyst Shards, a Ghast Tear, a Glistering Melon Slice and a Phantom Membrane.

With 'Prepare for Trouble' installed, Shadow Pokémon can be caught through Team Rocket battles, and Purification Fragments drop from defeated Team Rocket members instead of being crafted.

Spawn chances, battle boosts and the purification rewards can all be edited in the config.

Configuration Options

source | Where Shadow Pokémon and Purification Fragments come from: auto, prepare_for_trouble or standalone. Auto uses Prepare for Trouble if it's installed. (Default: auto)

wildShadows.chance | Chance a wild spawn is a Shadow Pokémon, from 0 to 1. Only used without Prepare for Trouble. (Default: 0.005)

wildShadows.nightOnly | Only spawn wild Shadow Pokémon at night. (Default: true)

battleMultiplier | How much more damage Shadow Pokémon deal and take in battle. (Default: 1.25)

purification.ivBoostMin | Lowest amount each IV is raised when purified. (Default: 12)

purification.ivBoostMax | Highest amount each IV is raised when purified. (Default: 24)

purification.expMultiplier | EXP multiplier for purified Pokémon. (Default: 1.25)
