About

Description

This mod does as you'd expect, adding 11 new shanty discs that can be discovered within Chests of Shipwrecks sunken at the bottom of the sea.

There isn't much anything else to this mod, this is basically meant to be played with other pirate themed mods as an immersive feature and I do intend on adding this to later versions of the game, I'm basically just waiting for more pirate themed Mods/Modpacks to drop to the later versions before releasing them to newer versions, but they will happen.

How To Obtain?

Music discs have a chance to spawn inside shipwreck chests.

For 1.20.1 the Treasure Chest (NOT Buried Chest) is where you will find these discs

For 1.18.2 the Supply Chest is where you will find these discs

Why I Made These?

Since I enjoy the feel of pirate games such as AC: Black Flag and Sea of Thieves, all with their own music shanty system, I figured that I would add an attempt at making shanties that you can listen to in Minecraft. I'm pretty proud with how these music discs turned out.

Will I Add More In The Future?

Possibly. If you have any recommendations or songs that you want to hear as shanties, make sure that there is a useable MIDI from Musescore that I can use to make shanties.

Can I Use These In My Own Modpack?

Yes you can. This is meant to be played in Modpacks.

Songs listed in this pack are credited here:

- "Leave Her Johnny, Leave Her" - Misc Traditional (https://musescore.com/thorium/scores/6265733)
