Description
A semi-official modified version of Shape Shifter Curse that is compatible with Sinytra Connector.
Some of the original mod's logic conflicts with Sinytra Connector, and the original plan to make a Forge-compatible version (which I was responsible for) turned out to be too difficult to complete in a short time (more than 2 months). Therefore, I re-implemented the conflicting logic (with reduced performance or compatibility) to create this compatibility mod.
This mod will try to keep the same functionality as the original Shape Shifter Curse (some features may be modified if they are too complex to re-implement). I will maintain this version until the official Forge version of Shape Shifter Curse is released.
Since this mod has not been fully tested, there may be some bugs that haven't been discovered yet. You can report issues at: https://github.com/xu233333/shape-shifter-curse-fabric/issues
Compatibility:
Addons: Since I am also the author of SSC Xu Addon, I will try my best to keep it compatible. Compatibility with other addon mods is unknown.
Datapacks: Because Sinytra Connector breaks some Apoli powers, some datapack form abilities may behave abnormally.
Dependencies:
Most dependencies must use the Forge version (Fabric versions are untested), except for Apoli and Calio, which must use the Fabric version.
Compared to the original mod's dependencies, this version additionally requires Sinytra Connector (obviously) and ConnectorExtras.
Below are the dependencies and their versions used in my development environment (if other versions fail to launch, you can refer to these):
- Connector-1.0.0-beta.46
- ConnectorExtras-1.11.2
- Apoli-2.9.2+mc.1.20.x-fix (fixes a bug in Apoli, but the fix hasn't been merged upstream yet. If 2.9.2 works fine for you, you don't need to add this. Download:
https://github.com/xu233333/shape-shifter-curse-fabric/releases/download/sinytra-connector-dev.21/Apoli-2.9.2 mc.1.20.x-fix.jar - azurelib-neo-1.20.1-3.0.19
- Pehkui-3.8.2+1.20.1-forge
- RichTranslatableText-Forge-1.20.1-1.0.2
- satin-1.14.0-Fabric
- fabric-api-0.92.2+1.11.12
Important Notes:
Since the Sinytra Connector version is synced with the main branch of my repository, and I am also the programmer for Shape Shifter Curse (which is why this version is semi-official), some new version features may be mixed into the connector version. This may cause issues with addons or datapacks developed based on the original mod.
