This mod allows players to create copies of the pottery sherds they find while exploring the world. The recipe to copy a sherd is similar to the vanilla recipe for copying smithing templates, however the materials used have been adjusted to make more sense for pottery sherds.

How do you duplicate a sherd?
Sherds are duplicated using a crafting recipe similarly to how players can already duplicate smithing templates in vanilla. The recipe is a terracotta block in the centre, the sherd you want to copy on top, and the remaining slots are all bricks. This recipe will consume the original sherd however you will get four of the same design back.
Is this mod server side only?
For the best experience it is recommended to install this mod on both the client and server, however it is only required on the server. If a server installs this mod all clients including vanilla will still be able to connect and use these recipes.
Can modded sherds be copied?
Yes, on Minecraft 1.21.1 and above all sherd items can be copied, provided that the mod has tagged their items correctly. On older versions of Minecraft only sherds from biome makeover, more pottery sherds, more tails more tailes, oh my sherd, spawn, and trails and tales plus can be copied.
Can I prevent specific sherds from being copied?
Yes, on Minecraft 1.21.1 and newer you can put the sherd in the sherdduplication:cant_duplicate tag to prevent this mod from creating a recipe for that sherd. Modders should do this if their sherd is meant to be limited or has some additional value. For example sherds from the Gilded Sherds mod can not be copied with this mod, as the recipe should not allow the gold to be duplicated.
