About

Description

This is a mod primarily focused on adding late/end-game armors that can help players in different ways or situations. For now, this mod only contains three sets of armor, but more will come later on if I have the right ideas and enough time on hand to do so.

Also, I reccomend you to use JEI in order to view the recipes properly.

Now, with that aside, let's go through the armors:

Shulker Armor:

Stats:

Armor: 17 (3+7+5+2)

Armor Toughness: 8 (2 per piece)

Knockback Resistance: 50% (12,5% per piece)

A basic set of shulker armor. It isn't the best armor in the mod. However, through the use of a smithing table you can make different upgraded versions of it by combining the aforementioned armor alongside the specific Smithing Template (Called Smithing Tablet in 1.0) of the armor you want to make and a key item (e.g.: netherite ingot)

When crouching while wearing a full set you gain more defense at the expense of some movement speed. Most of the upgraded variants share this ability alongside their unique one. Therefore, wearing a full set isn't a great idea while exploring ancient cities or other sculk-infested places. Unless...

It is also worth mentioning that all the upgraded versions (including the Smithing Templates) in item form are impervious to fire or lava.

Bulwark Shulker Armor: (Bulwark Upgrade Smithing Template + shulker armor piece + Netherite Ingot) (1.0 Only: Shulker armor piece + Bulwark Upgrade Smithing Tablet)

Stats:

Armor: 22 (4+8+7+3)

Armor Toughness: 16 (4 per piece)

Knockback Resistance: 100% (25% per piece)

The first upgraded armor ever added to the mod. This armor is heavily focused on defense. It doesn't have an unique ability, however, the resistance buff provided while crouching is stronger than the one given by the other armor sets. On the other hand, you are much slower while doing so.

Necrotic Shulker Armor: (Necrotic Upgrade Smithing Template + shulker armor piece + Wither Skeleton Skull) (1.0 Only: Shulker armor piece + Necrotic Upgrade Smithing Tablet)

Stats:

Armor: 17 (3+7+5+2)

Armor Toughness: 12 (3 per piece)

Knockback Resistance: 60% (15% per piece)

A particulary odd set of armor. Aside from making you immune to withering, you have a chance to recover a bit of health when performing a critical attack. However, the ability has a tiny chance to backfire, damaging you instead.

Sinister Shulker Armor: (Sinister Upgrade Smithing Template + shulker armor piece + Echo Shard)

Stats:

Armor: 17 (3+7+5+2)

Armor Toughness: 12 (3 per piece)

Knockback Resistance: 60% (15% per piece)

An armor fit for a berserker or an avid monster hunter. After killing a mob while wearing this set of armor, you will enter a frenzied state, granting you Speed III, Strength II and Haste IV (or 40% bonus attack speed) for 4 seconds.

This mod is Forge only for now.

Any comments asking for a Fabric version or a backport or port of the mod won't be answered. I will do that whenever I think I can.
